Illustration Friday: Cake

Mmmmm, what a wonderful topic this week. I've been a big fan of this confection for as long as I can remember. What could be better than deliciously wonderful cake? Well, I suppose if a friend surprised me with cake that could be even better. Although, I'd accept cake from just about anyone!! :)

This is so lighthearted and delightful! I love how you've created such an interesting shape by having his tail, foot and arms/cake break out of the orange circle!

I like the color and the curves. Personally, I've had a ton of chocolate cake this week and think my hips can't stand any more.

Monkeys are brilliant and funny, cakes are brilliant and tasty. Finally, the two together at last and doesn't it look lovely!?

Pssst! I think the monkey brought you a little cake! This is just adorable. Your monkey is as cute as can be, and he seems so eager to present that cupcake to someone:>

Thanks fellow cake lovers for the wonderful comments.
This isn't a birthday card yet, but I was thinking about it if I could find the right greeting card company to print it.
