GIVEAWAY!
When Will Terry contacted me about holding a giveaway of his video series on my blog I jumped with excitement! I had already viewed his sample video on Character Development, and found so many useful tips. I found myself wishing I had an instructor explain these concepts as clearly as Will does back in my college days.
Will Terry's "How to Illustrate Children's Books" video series includes 7 videos:
Lecture #1: Book Design
Lecture #2: Storytelling with Pictures
Lecture #3: Character Design
Lecture #4: Illustration Design
Lecture #5: Rendering
Lecture #6: Working with Color
Lecture #7: Success in the Marketplace
For a chance to win the entire series leave a comment on THIS post between now and midnight of Jan. 24th, 2011 and a winner will be chosen randomly on Jan. 25th. Please make sure I can link back to your site to find your email contact info.
Good luck and please help spread the word!

How cool! I definitely would like a chance to win this. Congratulations on passing 500 followers on twitter!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you guys - I thought 2 things would happen when I asked Angela if she wanted to do this giveaway. 1) She'd think it was a dumb idea and try to let me down gracefully and 2) That if she agreed to do it she'd get about 5 people that might want it. But the reality is really cool.
ReplyDeleteBut I worry that the build up is like when someone gushes about a movie they just saw and they tell you how amazing it is and then you are totally let down when you see it.
So Let me help you guys out - the videos are boring - pedestrian at best. Like watching paint dry.
:)
Nice try Will! But I really don't think they are all that boring. Even if they were, I still want them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting such a great giveaway Angela!
I watched the character development video.... it was anything but like watching paint dry! The hype is right! I’m getting the series one way or another :o) Will has been a terrific inspiration and a wellspring of information to me.
ReplyDeleteYes please!
