Illustration Friday: Chair

At first I thought this was an odd topic choice this week, but actually it could lead to endless possibilities. I reviewed some different options, but kept coming back to the pale yellow chair, and then just had decide who would sit upon it. Since I've been drawing a lot of standing characters lately this was a good exercise.

I like it, looks like she's anticipating something?

She looks very sweet, but perhaps is up to something? *G*

I like this very much; trying to figure out what the story is behind this little girl

Thanks for the comments.

I do like a good mystery. I've been facinated lately with the idea of wondering what's out there, and what's coming.

I'll leave the answer up to your own interpretation. I'd love to hear what you think the story is.

Yeah, I was gonna say that too - the girl has a real sense of mischief about her. Very nice piece of work.

This looks good. I like the yellow chair against the color of the wall and floor.

It looks like she's either waiting for something or she is being made to sit in the chair. I really like the s=feeling of mystery that creates, and i like blues with the bit of burnt orange.
