Ah, "Charlotte's Web." This book was everywhere when I was a kid. I love your tribute to Wilbur and Charlotte, and hope that the new film version does justice to the classic book.
Oh, I love that book! Your illustration is so cute - I love the texture and rendering. I just discovered your blog, and I think all your work is great.
Lovely image. It reminds me of my daughter who raised a wee little big into a huge monster pig last year. We loved this pig so much that we had to find a home for her instead of turning her into bacon. Anyway, your painting is beautiful.
Which will be creepier? Dakota Fanning or the creatures in the film? Just kidding, Angelato! Y'knows that I dig Dakota and her creepy woman-child acting ways. Nice piece. That texture is awesome. Great color as always.
Hey, where've you been? Charlotte's Web was my favorite when I was a kid. Adorable rendering. The use of the same red in her hood, shoes and in the farmhouse really ties the piece together.

nice and sweet. beautiful illo!
This is darling! I love the color combinations...very "vegetable" except for the delightful pink piggie.
Sweet. This makes me want to find a pig to pet.

I'm hungry, I think I'll go eat some bacon.
This is so beautiful, it looks like a woodcut print and your colour choices are wonderful!
