This is up near the top of my list of favorite Angelatos. Like the previous commenter said, this conjures up feelings we've all felt at one point or another. You've got skills, -A!

Thanks everyone!!

Eric, this one is just a sketch with lots of layers of textures. Some are painted and scratched surfaces that I photographed, and then I use the Photocopy filter in Photoshop to simply them, and change the layer modes. I used a lot more texture layers than usual because I really had wanted to paint it, but don't have time this week, so I was trying to give it a little depth at least.

The colors and the simple style make this really lovely. I love the sad face on the fish left behind :< He needs to swim faster!

Poor Hubert.. I think the other fish were just intimidated by his expressive eyes.

So cool and refreshing and so much depth. Love the colors. Although, I do feel for poor Hubert. But he is probably destined for better things, not just following the crowd, eh?
