Kung Hei Fat Choy!
Today, I planned to work on some other paintings, but I wanted to do a quick illustration in celebration of Chinese New Year. For, the year of the dragon is said to be the luckiest of them all!I love working on wood, but I've been itching to play with a lighter, quick color technique, so I found my old Arches watercolor paper, and had some fun with this little painting.

I'm thinking I may want to do more of these, so maybe a cute rabbit could be on the agenda, Melinda. :)
I'm also pondering if I want to see this painted on wood, or if it's more fun in this watercolor style?
